 The Worship Commission is entrusted with the responsibility of helping each parishioner see that our worship of God and our growth in holiness are at the very heart of who we are as God’s chosen people. We strive to create liturgical celebrations that convey the mystery of God’s saving love and presence, the strength of being a people called by God to communal prayer, the sense of being part of a living tradition that we share with Christians of every age, and the call to carry on Jesus’ mission of transforming our world according to Gospel values.
We are an organization of dedicated people who have the desire to share talents of reading, love for Scripture, art, singing, playing a musical instrument, assisting the priest at Mass, organizing and scheduling, sewing and hospitality, and are motivated by a desire to serve. Coordinators of the lectors, special ministers of the Eucharist, altar servers, gift bearers, greeters, and ushers are also members of this Commission.
